Where can i find out if my lastest purchase is tax exempt?

Is there a web site or what??

If it was manufactured before the 1st Jan 1973 then it's tax exempt. You might need a birth certificate from VW if the previous owner didn't have it as tax exempt but it shouldn't be a problem

133 or 113?

Is it 113 250 6382

as production for 1973 started at 113 2000 001, that would put that mid 1973, so a fair bit off being tax exempt I'm afraid.

V5 states 133 but i shall check that out!

133 is a 72/73 1302/03 chassis number

Don't forget that those numbers are for 1973 model year, so could be sept-dec 1972!

More likely to be an early '73 though.
