i rippet my belly button ring out about 8 years ago, taking off a top. i still have the scar now

Had mine done a few years ago. The lady who did mine (at Tribal Tattoo in Stoke while I was at uni) told me that male nipple piercings hurt more because the nipple is smaller and they have to pierce behind the nipple. Saying that, it wasn't too different from having any of my ear piercings or my belly button. So if you've had piercings before it shouldn't cause too much trauma! Healing-wise, it was fine. Tad sore for a week but if you look after it that goes pretty quickly. I think I remember being told to wear tight tops in bed as they stop too much movement! I imagine sticking a plaster over it would do the same job. I can't say it makes it more sensitive though, but then again, male nipples don't really have a function do they?!

yeah marko it's still wrong, it's been out about 8 or 9 years now and it's still bigger than the other one

If it makes you feel better from 1st july 2009 peircing places are not allowed to use numbing spray unless they are qualified anaesthetists. I shit myself after paying and getting physched up for my belly button peircing 4 times then was told well we cant numb it anymore.

saying that it didnt realy hurt, the aftermath does, my lip hurt the most, but thats cos i was stupid

i had my nipple pierced about a year ago, didn't really hurt and didn't have any problems with it. i got a ring done 1st cause it was cheaper lol, then swapped it after a week for a bar, for the first few weeks i have to use hot/ cold water to soften it to make it easy to change but now its really easy.

i cleaned it twice a day and no problems.

Don't catch it on the bathroom door though cause that really hurts, as i found out lol!!!!

ive had mine done for 14 years

proper healing takes a good few months and was only saw not swollen

have caught mine loads of times never had a problem
