HELP !!! how to fit a torsion arm on a standard front beam

hi all
does anyone know how to fit a torsion arm back on to a 1971 beetle standard front beam or know where i can find any information

any advice would be helpful thanks

What are you having trouble with?

Is it not going in all the way - possible beam bearing problem.
If it is then do the screw up (as long as its lined up).
Job done.

i had problems doing mine too and i thought it would be more complicated than it is.. but as stu said above, i think you literally just have to push it in and then put the allen key bolt in and then locking nut,

one of mine did take alot of wiggling about though, 3 of them just slid in but one of them took a bit more time, did it come out ok? or is it a replacement one

thanks for the advice lads i managed to get them back in in the end it came out quite easy but just needed abit of a wiggle & managed to line the allen key nuts up thanks
