Hi,

Gonna fit rear seat belts in my type 2 bay, it has a full width rock and roll bed.

how can this be done????
I presume it is only possible to fit lap seat belts - am i correct?? - if not where can the 3 point seat belts be connected.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated as gonna use the van for vw show in the next couple of weeks.

you can have three point . the sholder point is about a foot behind the seat under the side window.

Heya mate
i fitted some in mine to stop people moaning at me all i used were some long lap belts from just kampers they have to be the extra long ones or they will not reach all i did was drilled a hole in the wheel arch and used a seat belt mounting plate from jk and welded it on but you can get away with not welding it and i drilled a hole in the sloaping part of underneath the rnr bed for the other part of the seat belt and again used a seat belt mounting plate to fix it to the van its reall easy hope this makes sense if it doesnt ask me again lol

there is a way to fit three point belts but i must admit im bnot sure how i can remeber there being a diagram of how to do it in the jk catalogue a while back

if all else fails though pm me because i can fit them for you
