Help needed?

Hi I am trying to find some information on a 1981 Left Hand Drive type 25 bus a friend has brought.

At one point it was an ambulance and has been converted to a camper, It has all the wireing for a leisure battery which connects to what looks like a diode pack near to the battery (a big block of heat sinks and diodes). It has three wires comming from it, one on each side and one in the middle. One wire runs up to the leisure battery so i know where that one goes stumped as to which one of the two that are left goes where.

Need to know how to wire the split charging system, I think only one of the remaining wires goes to the battery, the other one connects to the alternator feed, But which one ??

Can`t find any info on the unit in the manual she has brought, can see the two batterys and the altenator.

Any help available.

Thanks

Useing the blue wire from the altenator might be wrong, as the wires of the unit are 16mm ish in size, she only has the haynes manual for the uk with a suppilment in for the usa electrics. In the manual shows it with two batteries but nothing that looks like the unit that is fitted for supplying power to the secound battery and the main battery or how it connects into the altenator link.

I think i know how to wire the unit but dont want to do it until i know for sure as i had enough fun on friday as I have had it wired one way and totally drained the battery so it would not start and pushing a bus so you can get a gap between the parked car and the bus so you can get a car in to try jump starting on your own is not fun lol.
