Headlight problem with my 1972 bay

My headlights are stuck on 'full beam', had a look at the indicator stalk assembly but it looks tamper-proof. Does this mean a new indicator/dip-switch assembly?

Crying or Very sad

they're over a ton to buy!!!!!!
