Smile In car Heater !

Anyone fitted an aftermarket heater to the inside of a beetle ?, I have no heat exchangers on the wifes 56 oval as it has a different exhasut fitted, I was wondering if anyone had fitted an aftermarket heater similar to the ones used in campers. Winter is coming and I can imagine waht is coming !!??? "its too cold in the car and I can't see out the windscreen !!"

I fitted a petrol eberspacher heater in my wifes 67 a few years ago and it was ace!! You could turn it on, go back in the house, have a brew, return to the car and it was defrosted and toasty warm. Bit dear though but well worth it (about £400)

None of the electric / ceramic 12v ones will work so dont waste your money with them!

Eber is the way forward, you can by new modern ones or a period version!
