What size Porsche wheels for a bug?

As title says! I am thinking of having a change on the bug and thinking Porsche wheels could be a good way to go! Obviously I would need adaptors but what sort of offset would be more ideal? And also 15's or 16's?.....

Just an idea at the moment but fancy something different! Notmany 4 stud rims that are really inspiring me!

Any help or suggestions welcome!

Re: What size Porsche wheels for a bug?

I had a set of 15" cookie cutters that fitted on dedrilled drums with no offset problems. Couldn't tell you what the offset was though so its not much help really is it?

Re: What size Porsche wheels for a bug?

Most of the modern porsche rims are available in big offsets so will tuck under the arches easily, but go too wide and you'll struggle with them snagging the inner arches.

Cookies and teledials will fit ok, as will cup 1's, boxter rims etc as long as you stick to the 6j versions. 15's or 16's no issue, it's all about tyre choice.

Thought about some 4 stud porker rims? Baby gasburners (Mahles), padrini's? 2lts?
