After a long period of looking sadly at the Beetle on my drive and not having any money to spend on it, I've just finished a project and been paid - so I finally have some cash to splash!

I need to buy these as quickly as I can, in order of importance!

OSF wing + headlight
Long bonnet
W decklid
Decent condition front seats
Passenger door (dent/rust free)

I'd also be interested in seeing what wheels people have that will bolt straight on just to smarten it up a bit whilst I start gathering parts for the 'rod conversion... Or some banded steelies would be good...

I'm also interested in a roof rack, if anyone has one lying around.

I'm sure it goes without saying, but I need to buy these bits as cheaply as I can - please don't be offended if you offer something and I haggle a bit

Oh, and I'm in Telford, so the closer to here the better!

i have a passanger 70s door solid bits of surface rust complete with glass 20quid,
a solid popes nose semi w iw popes nose but had t bar handle replaced with 70s button 50quid.
i have a 70s interior black vinal but both front seats are passanger but will fit and work 20quid
i have a rear set of wide five banded steels with mint bridge stones painted black mint 200quid.
i have a full set of empi 8s no tyres all different colours 90quid.
i also have various bug bits knockin around so feel free to come have a rummage
oh i also have a 70s ally roof rack with all fixtures 60quid.

The most important bits for me atm are the bonnet, passenger wing and headlight as the car was in an accident and I can't get it MOT'd without those. Everything else is just stuff I want to build the car as I want it to be!

Having said that, I'm interested in the steelies, the interior and the semi-w. Can you give me some details on the steelies please? What size are they, width etc? Got any pics?

Also, is the interior just two passenger seats or does it include the rear bench and door cards?

A pic of the rack would be nice too

cant do any pics mate, the interior is everythin other than the front cards, the steels are rears 195 15 but i had flaired wings on the car cuz they wouldnt fit under, i have them forsale n all 50quid the set early style fibre glass, its half hr from were u r come have a pat butchers any time mate jus call n arange a time, i got the roof rack for my bug but decided to not bother with one in the end.im sure we can have a deal for it all.

Got a bonnet off a 73 bug if you are interested. It was set up for a solenoid catch so you will have to drill out the welds, but I have the original handle to go with it. Let me know if you are interested

Just had a look on Google maps, you're over 50 miles from me, so about an hour.

I'm still interested, but I'm not sure when I'll be able to get over now. Probably have to be on a Saturday, but I'm busy for the next couple.
