I have for sale a 1983 T25 1.9 water cooled transporter. I have just finished a massive overhaul on it but due to personal I have to sell it!
This van has been stripped and rebuilt. I have replaced the passenger door, tailgate, n/s rear wheel arch o/s and n/s sills, side loading door and n/s rear quarter panel. The cab floor has been repaired and sealed along with the steps. So has the roof where it had been driven into something low. These aren't filler repairs either I'm talking sheet metal work.
The doors have been flashed (even the side loader) and I have remote opening on the drivers door via a scorpion alarm. The van has had a full professional respray and looks really good. All lenses lights and bumpers have been replaced with new. Bee sting aerial on roof and merc style washer jets that come off the wiper blades. New grills.and push on trim. Empi 5 graphite wheels with Yokohama tyres. Blacked out rear and side windows.
Mechanically the van is brilliant. New callipers and pads up front and serviced rear drums. New 1/2 coolant pipes in plastic, rebuilt left bank of engine (allegedly a recon engine but onl one side had been done, so now both sides are perfect), body colour rocker covers, polished and recon alternator, polished manifold, light up blue dizzy cap and new leads, new twin tip exhaust which sounds awesome, new accelerator cable, new 80mm shorter lowering springs and shocks from JK.
Interior was refitted 2 years ago but I have modernised it slightly. New cloth headliner, cab carpet, door cards around entire van, 6x9's set into seat box in rear and into driver and passenger doors with an amp and leisure battery and Aiwa cd head unit. It has captain seats that swivel 360 degrees, loads of storage, fridge, sink, water tank and pump, gas cooker and a futon style bed. Scorpion 3000 alarm with colour coded blue led's (professionally fitted).
This van is mint on the outside and pretty damn good on the inside. A real head turner. 6mths tax and 12mths MOT.
