My '87 panel van, a little scruffy, but solid.
Green, stock wheels, suspension etc, Porsche 911 electric driver's seat, all hooked up and working, twin seater passenger bench thingy, empty in the back, ready for a camping interior of your choice, or lugging parts, anything
Engine is a 1.8, 8 valve out of a mk2 golf, with the original fuel injection system all there and working perfectly (digifant i think) and a K+N filter. 'box is a 5 speed and shifts nicely, van accelerates hard, and is fast enough to stay in the fast lane
comes with tow hitch, perfect as a tow vehicle for a race or show car, and will happily cruise at 70 when towing.
it has indicator and wiper stalks off an '88 golf, all working perfectly (so much nicer than the original ones).
Bad bits, the bodywork isn't prefect, as reflected in the price, a little seam rust around the wheel arches, a patch on the bottom of the rear corner, and in the usual places on the front panel, above the light grille and on the bumper mount panel, see the photos, none of it is that bad.
That's about it really. it's a great van to drive, looks hard as nails and sounds pretty meaty too i love it, and would really like to keep it but i have a bay that needs MOTing and i need a new daily, so the wedge has to go
MOT til November and Tax til August.
oh and it has an alarm too, key fob activated, work's great
£1300, p/x considered (ask), but rather cash.
Matt
bad bits...
