Sadly we are having to sell the Camper.
It has done us proud and hopefully who ever buys it will have as much fun from it as we have.
We bought it in August 2006 and here's a list of things that we have done.
New Clutch, New Discs and calipers, New brake cylinders, All the air and fuel pipes on the engine have been replaced. All the bushes in the gear linkage from front to rear have been replaced. This also included a short shift kit. The engine was recently serviced and the carbs were balanced. There is also a pair of rear shocks ready to go on.
It's also had a new Bosch Battery.
The engine is a 2.0 twin carb and runs very well, even more so since the service and carb tweak. I recently did a 300 mile round trip in a weekend and it never missed a beat.
The Body has been restored at some point in the past and is now showing signs of needing a little tidying up. The drivers door is the worst of this.
The chassis is all good and solid having passed the MOT in October with no problems.
We think that it might be a Moonraker conversion but if thats wrong please let me know. The inside was going to be our next job as it's become a bit tired. It's all there but just needs some TLC. The Fridge has never worked since we have had it.
There is a Just Campers drive away awning that will come with it. It consists of two double bedrooms and a large communal area and is bigger than the van. Im not sure of the model but i'll have a look.
