Additional Information:
I bought this car in October last year and used it all through the winter when it was snowing, and it was great. Unfortunately, after Christmas it started chucking oil into the air filter and I haven't been able to fix it. I think it needs a new crankcase breather pod - I have this and a new VAG breather pipe to go with the car. It will also need a new air filter and the filter housing needs a good clean out. I got the old crankcase breather pod off, but you need a special tool or some kind of press to get the new pod in, and I don't have the time or facilities to be trying to sort this out myself.
I can't guarantee that that is the only problem with the car, but it was running fine until it started doing this, and this is commonly a problem on mk2 Polos.
It's a very solid car (the earlier German ones are always better) although it does carry dents on nearly every panel. Very original, with dealer plates front and back, except for the driver's seat which is non-matching with the others. Small amount of service history.
Definitely needs to be trailered away - will NOT drive.
