for those interested, here's a few pics of the golf













the car has been parked up since december 2007, problem with fuel getting to carb, if you turn it over with pipe from fuel pump to carb removed, then fuel comes through to fuel pump and spills out, put pipe back on and it's not going through to carb, however, if you fill the carb with petrol, it will fire up until petrol has been used (about 5 seconds).
car will need to be trailered away.
