type 3 or ghia

hi, i am after a type 3 (don't mind what souught) or a karmann ghia that ready for the road but not to expensive, don't mind doing work to it in future but i could do with it on the road, as i arleady have a 1303 project. Just seeing if anyones got anything

A cheap Karmann Ghia isn't worth looking at. It'll be full of filler or pretty rotten. Best to avoid them.

Type 3s have really nasty rot areas too so be careful when viewing

cheers for the advice, i would really like a type 3 but, i think there out of my price range if i look at it in a practical way. but i'm sure i can make it work. sought of
