Classic Car Show 2007- NEC November 9-11th

The time has come to apply for our annual (hopefully ) space. I am trying to get a bit more space this year.

So who's going to spare their car for the weekend...

Mine is in progress, so if everything goes according to plan im taking it...

Mr SD? Hows about the bug?

The Scumball rail?

The splitties were good for attracting attention last year... Steve? Liggo?

Something 'different' A type 3 or 4 would be a nice addition....maybe a K70

and dare I suggest it....a Waterpumper too?

Most importantly.....any suggestions or ideas for a theme or some sort of active display? Now that we've been there and done it once and we have much more time to prepare than last year.....I reckon its time to raise the stakes a bit!

it probably only needs 90 ish Hp to have the same power to wight ratio as the original !
So a turbo'd 1641 should do it easy !

if its going in the show, it will be the incentive to get it done

I think definitely get a water pumper in there. Earlier the better if poss - nice bit of retro and shows that the club is open to all. The sams have a k70 & a mk1 polo or there may be a few others floating about.
If I can help out let me know

Thats what I was thinking Steve, not seen Sam for a few weeks so I've got no idea how the K70 is going.

Jon has an early MK2 GTI, which he keeps talking about restoring, that would be good! Anyone know anyone with an early passat or mk1 golf/polo or similar?
