Cold War Day 16th September -Stoke on Trent.

I have received this today, anybody interested?

"My name is Bob Gibbens I am events organiser of the Wartburg/trabant IFA club UK. On the above date we are having a show at Foxfield Steam railway Blythe Bridge near Stoke on Trent with a theme of a Berlin check point 1960/1990's hence the title. All our cars were manufactured in the pre Berlin wall days and obviously belong to the east. What I would like to do is show a few cars of each design which would have run on the opposite side of the wall for comparison hence my E mail to you. I wondered if you could help in my search for a few owners with VW of the period who would be prepared to visit the show. There is no political interest in our cars we are just interested in the cars themselves. The Railway offers free camping good food and a bar plus lots of railway interest for any body who would like to make a week end of it."

I am guessing they are looking for stock-ish vehicles. Would almost certainly make an interesting day out. If anyone is interested let me know.

Thanks.
