volenteers

The last bolt is off, hopefully this means that the body can come off (pretty sure it hasn't been welded to the pan!). I'm going to need some willing helpers on Saturday (6th sept) to help lift the body and a small point of needing to borrow a trailer to get the floorpan sorted????

Thanks.

Martyn

Body was loosened enough to come off but with only 4 of us i decided to take it with the body on (only needed steering dis-connecting and the z bar which i forgot about). Will hopefully be picking it up next weekend (unless anything scary is discovered).

only a few weeks away now, hit a snag today though. Clutch cable has come off the pedal and is somewhere in the tunnel and the doors have dropped so much that the drivers side won't latch. Two things i could do without, and something i will need help with.

Well looks like i'm totally buggered. On the same weekend that the info for the classic car run i'm doing on the 12th came in the post I found that the new manifolds are a different height so the linkage is too long, but more importantly the doors are so far out I can't get them to shut at alll no matter how much i try and adjust them, even ground some off the back of one hinge to see if that would work.
