engine is stripped ,
found that the sump is about 2/3mm thick oil sludge ,
cam & cam followers are badly worn ,
crank & big ends bearings are fine ,
1 spark plug needs helicoiling,

parts required are;
3 rivet cam,£40
cam followers,£30 a set,or £2.95 each from volksbits in brum,
cam bearings,£6.00 a set,
gasket set,£6.00,
crank oil seal,£3.00,
oil strainer,£2.50/£3.00,
helicoil,£10,

(heads to be stripped shortly)..................

heads are stripped ,tell you what you're a lucky f***ker only found a tinware screw wedged in the inlet port lucky no damage ,all valve guides are sound...

but you do need (1 inlet valve) due to very badly pitted the rest just needs to reseated.

if needed i have two 4 bolt std camas and one twin port head,all brand new but with slight damage - nowt to stop them being used

CHEERS DUDE,but the only problem if chimpy changes to a 4 rivet cam he'll have to change the oil pump but for the right money it may be worth doing oil pumps are only about £15 & would be ideal fitting a new oil pump with a new cam,cheers lee.

have 2 cams and one head (plus a shit load of other stuff,can't believe the stuff i have collected)

cams have slight markings on gear,just needs filing to be used and the head has about 3 bits of fine cracked on one corner - all brand new never fitted
