Selling all my bugs

Hi all

I know I probably shouldn't put this here - but you're all local and someone may be interested...

I'm getting rid of all my beetles - two are in Barwell, one is in Hinckley - all details are over on VolksZone

Cheers all

Combination of factors really - the white one failed the MoT this week after I'd spent so much time on it which demoralised me... It needs two patches welding which I just can't do without getting it off the ground which is impossible when you live in a mid terrace with no garage or driveway.

I'd risked having it with no tax or MoT outside the house for the past 3 months - then my neighbour reversed into it last Saturday and dented the bonnet (which I've hammered out now) but then he started going all 'your car shouldn't be parked there anyway - it's all your fault' on me which is true, but he shouldn't have been so careless parking anyway... So I needed it to pass the MoT this week - which it didn't.

So, that ones going.

The other two - well I bought one off Machine 7 as a donor for the other - but the same 'no space to do it' clause reared its head and the promise of help never came.

So, I just don't have the money or inclination to bother any more - partially due to my white one failing the MoT, partially due to the neighbour being a wanker, partially due to me having no money any more to just plough into the VW pit and partially me having absolutely nowhere to work on any cars.

I'll get back in the game later... when I can afford it I'll buy a solid, long MoT'd bus - until then, it's game over so everything I have is going

Hi been along time since I've been on here for one thing and another, but I'm in the market for another bug, could be very interested.

Can you either put up some details on VT here or PM me with some details (the VZi link isn't working - someone over there broke it)

Cheers

Hi there!

Sods law that VZi goes down the day I put all my stuff up for sale!
I'll be quick as I've got to go to work, but I'll get some details and pics down for you.

I've got 3 Beetles

1974 1200 - £650 ONO - Pictures

MoT Failure - needs 2 spots of welding at the back end and the front beam raising (or tie rods turning round) as no suspension travel... (and horn needs sorting)
Floorpan currently quite solid - although advisory says it's starting to deteriorate - so get it Waxoyled now
1600tp Bus Engine (Good and strong but seriously needs tuning - plus still on DVLA database as 1200)

1975 1303 - £250 (Bought from M7) - Pictures
Good original car
Shocking floorpan (you can see in the photos)
Good 1300 engine

1973 1303 - £225 - Pictures

No engine/box
Decent floor
Was going to be recipient of parts from ^^^^^^^ but never got round to it.

All cars need trailering (obviously)

Any more info, just drop me a PM

Original VZi thread is now back up - Goldie is gone - going back to a previous owner but the others are still available.
