Who's up for a run out this weds for a change from the Griffin

Found this on vzi, sounds like there's a few rods and american stuff booked in and some vw's too so well worth a visit

On the 18th June (a Wednesday night) The Coventry & Warwickshire Motor Club will be holding its annual 'Wheels Display Evening' at the Blue Lias Inn (http://www.bluelias.com), just down the road from Long Itch to Stockton.

This is a great local show with a wonderful variety of machinery, from classics and exotica to kit cars and hot rods. Entrance is FREE and you get to vote for best vehicle in a number of classes. And the food's good too! Details will be posted at http://www.cwmc.org.uk/cwmc/Wheels.htm, although at present it's still last year's page. You can register there or just turn up.....and a Butty Runner has won sumat for the last 3 years running....even a best of show against a Delage and a carbon fibre bodied Ferrari !!!!
The pub are even putting on a basket meal menu just for the petrol heads!!.. some pics can be found on http://www.nsra.org.uk/newforum/showthread.php?t=9001

So, who's up for a cruise?

I'm leaving about 6:15 from mine if you fancy wandering this way.

Otherwise - you know the big b&q on the a45?
Go past that roundabout & the next one is a big multi lane one with lights. Turn left there and the texaco is immediately on your left just after the roundabout
