One, you need to go into your user Control Panel and check the box to receive email notifications, or it could be that your email client junks them In that case you need to make sure your email account knows that any mail sent from vt is ok!
The problem is that a server with an ip address in the same range as ours has been sending out SPAM mail. The mail server that processes all our outgoing mail has blocked the address range around this SPAMMER and seem to have included our address in there as well.
We've written to the mail handler to try and get our IP address re-enabled and are just waiting for some contact from them.
It was hopefully going to be sorted out last night but as you can see, nothing yet.
Just check to see if you've selected to receive email notifications from VT when you subscribe to a thread...
It's yer user CP then edit options and it's the bit where it says: Default Thread subscription mode
or does your email client junk stuff from VT thinking it's some crazed hardened porn site?!?!?!
I've turned mine off and reduced my emails by 98%!!!
