Ok, I must be doing something wrong

and it must be pretty basic!
For about 6 months or so I've not been able to edit my posts on my home pc without getting booted out and having to log back in again. It must be my pc 'cos it don't happen when I'm at work. It used to just be this forum too, but lately its been on every forum I use. VT, VZI, Scumball, T4 forum, VWKD to name a few. Now i find i can't even log into Busgoons at all, I just get this message:


I hit yes, it takes me to a debugger (which i know fuck all about), I hit no, it does this:


What am I doing wrong? Every other type of website is fine, its just forums!

Thinking about it, this started after I installed an update of Norton internet security (updates automatically). I'm secure according to it, but why am I getting all these run time errors?

Yep, looks like you've got crap on your machine

Download this program (Hijackthis) http://www.merijn.org/files/HiJackThis_v2.exe

Do a system scan with logfile and email the logfile to me on choptop@blueyonder.co.uk

I'll have a look and see if there's anything particularly out of order.

Once that's done,

Download the latest version of Avast antivirus, Adaware and spybot.

Leave them running till they're finished.

If you can do the hijackthis log first it'll give me a better view of any crap in case the antivirus\adware progs don't remove things fully.

After reading that, fuck norton off. It's shite. Avast is good, free and doesn't slow your machine down.

It's a very useful system scanning\fix tool.
