but ..

Image Type: gif (The GIF image format)
Width: 100 pixels
Height: 100 pixels


I think the 100x100 might be doing it ? as your screen states 80x80 ?

I'll have a look for some image editing software for anim gifs (linux)

Yep, there's the prob

There's an in-build resizer when you upload avatars. Only problem with it is that it strips animated ones.

There's a few tools out there I think that will resize animated gifs.


Hmmmmm, that could be another option on the donators benefit scheme. Animated avatars ??
