Thomas Tunin's how to crash into your garage thread

Yep..

Comedy moment of the year goes to me

Was changing a brake slave cylinder over on saturday including removing the pipe to the master cylinder. Had done everything except bleed brakes and thought I just move the car forward abit. A bit gunho on the throttle and as I approached the garage braked to find nothing there suprise suprise before I knew what had gone on, I'd smashed into the one garage door ripping it off it's one hinge. oopS. Any how moved the car back to inspect the damage. I fixed the garage with a hammer several nails and of course my favourite Mr Zip Tie

As for the car I've managed to bend the one T-bar and knocked the head light lense out. Pretty good really. well that is unil I inspected the holy cheese otherwise know as my front valance. At last I've managed to remove the HUUUUUGE lump of filler which was pasted into the bottom. Only prob know is there's only metal left in my valance and that ain't sh*t

Fooking daft thing for me to do but I can laugh about it know. I suppose I'll have to replace the valance sooner than i thought

oh yeah

Dude! Quality. BTW that wasn't filler, that was Fibreglass, much stronger mate! It's all the bits around the outside of the fibreglass that couldn't hold it together!!

and ain't it weird how the one side of the valance was ufcked yet the other side isn't too bad :?

At least it's a bit more fibreglass/filler/non metal objects whatever you call it removed
