"The Crooze"

Just wondering, are we OK to have it from the cuckoo oak?

yup! But have been looking at taking a drive away from the norm, out into the country a bit this time as opposed to Ironbridge.

There's a huge pub in Pattingham with a large car park that is pretty empty during the week. We could leave the Cuckoo Oak and crooze thru Shifnal and onto Pattingham.
It's just over 12 miles, and should take about 25 minutes on a steady crooze.

Could be nice to do summat different!

would be nice but one of the highlights of the current cruise is the switchback along the wharfage at ironbridge, its a real smile inducer to see just how big the cruise is!

Maybe a different route to ironbridge / a cruise out somewhere that starts at the cuckoo and takes on ironbridge.

we talked about it at club last week and all routes into Ironbridge apart from the Jiggers Bank side are no lowered car friendly! hence why the ghia ain't getting dumped till after the crooze!!!!!!!!

and with traffic lights appearing nearly everywhere, it makes it a fookin' PITA to organise a route where you ain't getting cut off!
getting to Ironbridge is a piece of cake from the Cuckoo oak as you get on the EP and down to the pit head island then to jiggers bank island and down to Buildwas and across to Ironbridge.....and then back the same way!

other way is go down the hill past the All nations and Blists Hill and into Coalport then right passed the Robin Hood and into Ironbridge, but the road is pretty gnarly to say the least!

Fair point. Quite like the idea of a full on shifnal drive by!

Also glad to hear that the ghia is gonna get the right treatment

When is the next cruise anyway?
