Hi folks last week i mentioned starting a vw club in the stourbridge area. Thirtyoneclicks was very intrested and others was too ( sorry guys forgot your forum names now)So we are gonna try and start one up. I know there not as easy to get together has people would think. Im asking for people intrested to shout out and say there in.
Ok just wanted to say a little about myself. Had a couple of beetles and campers over ten years ago. Used to live by the hen and chickens on the wolvo road. I joined a club called the young ones very small club and then changed names to ali ba ba and the forty dubberz was an ok club . over the years it slowly faded out though. I sold my beetle for a mortgage deposit
, Always kept an eye on the scene hoping one day id have another vdub. Well my time has come and im back now. And over the past couple of months been realising that there are so many vw lovers around here , and no club!!!! Not sure what happened to the half a brain club .
Anyway started to bore you ll now i guess . We wanna start up a club. Meeting place i aint got a clue ..... any sugestions??? i think a couple wanna meet up this thursday. short notice i know sorry. will be local really. just i quiet pub. have a chat and see how we can start the ball rolling. What i will say i wanna make this club so that theres no real leader want us all to be equal . We all get a say in how the club runs. just chilled and relaxed . Anyway let us know and any ideas on venue for the first meeting this thursday.
