kev at midland tat was tattooist of the year afew years ago. i know he employs good people but i think they are expensive. the last i heard was £70 per hour plus the cost of the design.

There's 2 very good ones in Wolves. The one next to the Harley Davidson garage (Tattoo Palace) on the A41, and Spikes, on Broad Street near the station.

I've just noticed a new one has opened up on the Stafford Road near Fordhouses. No idea who or how good though.
