Re: 2010 VT Calender????

As the last entry was sometime in September and judging by the amount of people who said yes, the printing and production costs would have made it unviable to do.
Especially as someone has to front up the money in the first place and printing less than 100 becomes costly. Last thing I'd have wanted is to pay for 100 calendars and sell 25 and be a couple hundred quid out of pocket.

Best suggestion for next year is do what we do on Classic Audi and have a monthly competition and at the end of each month, everyone else gets to vote on each others pics and at the end of the year, you end up with 12 winning pictures to make a calendar for next year.

Best bet is to start it now, this month!

Else this time next year, you'll be still trying to get a photo for December and trying to get your calendars printed!

The way we run ours is that there can be no more than 2 entries per person.
Then at the end of the month, someone goes through the pics and pics the best of them (maybe all if it's not a busy month) and put them up to vote.

All pictures must be the posters own work and has to be take in that current month.

You must also decide on what type of calendar you want to produce.
CD sized desktop calendars are good as you can get away with lower res pics.
But if you want an A4 wall calendar, you'll need every entry to be available in hi-res which would really limit the entries.
