Re: volkswagen wheels stud pattern

presuming 4 x 100??

Early BMW (E21, E30), early Audi (Typ81, Typ 85 but not coupes), Renault, New Mini, Daewoo, some Kia's, Proton's & Diahatsu's, also some of the Mazda range for starters.
One thing you'll need to note though is the size of the centre bore as these vary between manufacturer so will either end up in the centre bore needing to be drilled out or the use of spigot rings.

Re: volkswagen wheels stud pattern

Hi,

Just double checking before i waste my money if all 4 stud vw's are the same stud pattern, ie leannes's golf cabbie mk4 is 4 stud, funny but they all are not 5 stud like hatchbacks anyway do polo wheels think it was 02 plate new shape 4 stud wheels fit ok.

It might be a daft question but best be sure before i buy.

Thanks again

Re: volkswagen wheels stud pattern

All the watercooled 4 stud vw's are 4x100
Aircooled are 4x130
5 stud golfs (mk3 gti/vr6, most mk4 onwards except cabs which are still based on a mk3 platform) are 5x100

5 stud passats and t4 are 5x112

Be careful of stud sizes and centre holes tho, you may find some differences there, but it should be easy enough to overcome.

Re: volkswagen wheels stud pattern

suburus are 5x100 as well but have a strange offset (et27) so they are pushed out more than the et35 (which is standard-ish)
