Possible Custom/Classic car show in Hanley City Centre

Hi all

I have agreement for the city to hold a car show in the city centre/pedestrial areas of Hanley this summer
It will be a Sunday afternoon - probably Father's Day (June 17th)
Entry by pre-registration/selection only (ie you send us details of your car and we tell you if you're in or not)

I want to show the public a whole range of "unusual" cars - VW; classics; Yanks; lowriders; hot hatch; Hot Rods etc - but ONLY THE BEST (hence, the pre-selection thing)

This is a fantastic opportunity to display your vehicles to the masses - right in the city centre

What do you think ? A go-er ? If anyone wants to submit any cars for selection, mail me at
Also -- if anyone has contacts with any other clubs/scenes in the area, let me have them or send them my mail addy

Once I can guage interest, I'll decide whether to put this into action

Thanks !

sounds good

don't think my bus or project bug are anywhere near good enough to go in

i can think of 1 or 2 local vehicles well worthy of being in there though.

about time hanley offered something good unlike that signal thing where people sit in a car in the potteries center for a 100 years! or being elbowed by every shopper you pass!

gets a from me

A few names within the VW world have been put forward but I'd rather hear from the people themselves directly
Anyone wanting to display - send me a mail at the above address (with some pics of the car hopefully)

The Sentinel are on board and should be running something soon

I also have the Stoke on Trent car club telling me they have at least 20 cars that they can send - obviously I need a good balance of cars so let me know if you're interested otherwise available spaces will go to these guys
