Just Kampers drive away awning
Well we've sold the camper van, so there seems little point to keeping the drive away awning.
It's HUGE.. !
We bought it when we got our van back in 2006 and it's a really handy addition to have to the van with all the extra space that it provides.
It's a drive away awning from JUST KAMPERS that simply attaches to the rain gutter on the van, when you need to move the van you just undo the clamps and away you go.
it's really easy to put up and can be done by one person after a bit of practise.
It stores away in it's own bag thats small enough to store under a rock and roll bed. The zip on the bag has broken but it's still secured when shut with some plastic clips.
I put it up in a rush this afternoon just so i culd take some pic's so not all the guide ropes were use and so it may look a bit slack in places.
There is a small tare in the side of the section that joins the awning to the van. It's not huge and it's never worried us. It was done when some numpty opened the passenger door on the van. I'll try and get some pic's up of the damage.
So there you go, your welcome to come and have a look, it's in Shrewsbury.
I could post it but would rather have it collected due to the size and weight of it.
One other thing worth mentioning, it could use some new pegs as some of the ones that are with it aren't terribly straight.
The awning has been up in the back garden for a few days in case anyone wanted to come and take a look at it but with the strong winds that we've been having localy i have now taken it down and in doing so i discovered that one short section of one of the poles has split about a quarter of away down it. This does sound worse than it is and the pole still does it's job. I have however taped the section up and it seems to be holding together ok. Just somthing i thought i should let you know.
Thanks for looking.
