Volvo V40, 1998, 12 months MOT, £750
Decided to get rid of the back up car and put my faith in the bug...
Very reliable car with all the features you would expect (air bag, electric windows on front, heated mirrors, headlight wipers, air con, etc) plus the FANTASTIC heated front seats!!! Travel in real comfort this winter! Does have 146,000 on clock and exhaust is noisier than it should be, but has just sailed through MOT and has never let us down. Small dent on boot but seems pretty solid otherwise. Anyone need a dependable and comfortable mid-sized estate??
