First things first! I am a classic car enthusiast and having owned a number of different classics got the aircooled bug about 8 years ago. I own a 13 window deluxe and a nice lambretta and this porsche. I choose my cars very carefully and selectively but need to sell something to free up some of the cashola, reluctantly I have decided to sell my Porsche 911.

I have personally known this car for a few years finally managing to convince my friend to sell it to me in March 07. It is a staggeringly original car with FPSH, all paperwork and bills, service books, MOTs and the little bits and bobs that often go missing over time (stickers, information cards and notices) they are all present. It's a rare thing to have a car with such a comprehensive history, it makes a fascinating read! As the car had been dry stored for a while I had to instruct a well know independent Porsche specialist (Pro 9 in Solihull) to carry out some recommissioning work with all parts replaced with original equipment Porsche parts these being rear calipers, brake and clutch master cylinder, steering rack, brake pads. I also treated the car to a fresh set of Bridgestone S02 tyres all round (the 911 enthusiast's tyre of choice)!

I put the car into a carcoon for the winter last year but noticed that there were a couple of small imperfections around the rear bumper/valance when I took the car out for a spin early spring. As is often the case for the perfectionist (!) the car was taken to the talented Dave Haywood (Haywood Classic & Custom see the white '51 split in Volksworld) and completely stripped of all trim (inc bumpers, handles, lights, wing mirrors, bumpers, side trim etc) and the two small areas of corrosion dealt with with the car being treated to a professional respray. Don't be alarmed I have full photographic record of before, during and after to show the, frankly, minor repairs. I can now categorically say that the car body on this car is perfect and is more rust free than any period 911 on the road currently. It has had a full respray in Grand Prix White, once baked the body was colour sanded for two days by Dave and Matt Attwood (wheelie king) in order to make it perfect. It shines far better than my new car does now!

The car has blue leather sports seats piped in white; it has a blue mohair power hood which has a clear rear window and perfect hood bag. The Fuchs wheels have been refurbished/detailed at some point in the past and are in very good condition. The car has covered 89,000 miles to date and to the best of my knowledge with the supporting paperwork this is genuine. It has never been crashed or bumped and was wearing its original coat of paint from the factory when I took ownership of it. There was and is no filler or rust on this car whatsoever. It is currently MOT'd and has Tax until March next year. I am enjoying using this car as a daily driver but would like it to go to a good enthusiast's home where it can be appreciated and used a little more sparingly to preserve it.

Now we all read about the money people spend (and loose!) and at this price I am loosing around £4k on what this car owes me, but for that I have enjoyed owning it for 18 or so months. Looking for the nearest to £13,750 I can get. If you are interested PM me or call me on 07990550130. I will consider a very cheap PX if it has four seats, is boring and economical!

Cars like this dont come along too often

Go into your photobucket account, look for the IMG code box by each pic, double click on it and it should copy, then just paste it into your post.
