Thats a nice looking bug mate, but as you found out, good looking is not necessarily structurally sound. If i had the money or the space i would have it off you or swap it for my lass's golf TDI lol

Is it your first aircooled? Cos if so, i wouldn't sell unless you REALLY have to. They all cost us money but when its done, they are our pride and joy. me and some mates have completely restored an 03 and if you buy the parts or plates from GSF you can always find someone who will do it cheap.

We took ours to Marsh Farm in Bulkington. They did some awesome work on it but it was a whole floor and channel replacement but worth a try.

dont give up mate

Realistically without MOT its spares and repair, these dont sell for anywhere near the amount a Mot'd 03 would fetch.
Might be worth speculating to accumilate

P reg Polo 1.9D?

10months MOT, 4months Tax,

drives really nice and boring!

Bought it when fuel prices went through the roof, by the time I'd taxed it had started to fall.

Been used as a family pool car since, just comes back when its almost out of fuel or needs washing!

Dark green metallic, Alloys, etc

Parcel shelf and first-aid kit missing out the back.

*Edit*
I've got the funds together and mate who could pick it up, how would you feel about £500 without the wheels wheels?
I'd like to see some pics of the inner arches and rust spots you were on about though if you could do that, as i need to work them into cost and how much it will take to get MOTd

Cheers
