VW Mk2 Golf or Jetta

this is for a friend of mine,

we bought a mk2 golf 1.3 nearly 2 years ago for £280 and he has run it round and it has been faultless, but its MOT is due and its definately not going to pass, so its going to the scrap heap in the sky,

therefore needing another car,

so he is looking for another one or even a jetta, but the budget is up to £800 MAX

not looking for a GTi tho!

shame you don't want a GTI was thinking of parting with mine soon - G reg mk2, 5 door, small bumpers.

Would be nicely in your budget too!

Hi, I,ve got a MK2 Jetta 1.3LX for sale. It's a 1991 'J' with 119,000 miles. It's been my daily transport for the past i15 years. I've got all the bills and service records. It's in fantastic orginal condition inside and out, runs as sweet as a nut, although I suspect it won't be to long before the head gasket will need replacing. I'm looking for £500 and I'd love it to go to a good home.
