Any one herd of a sand scorcher and Rough Rider ?? They are radio controled buggy based on a Baja bug from back in the 80's and I had one and they were fantastic fun.

30 years on I thought I would have a go at full size VW so got myself sand rail last year which is a bit beyond my skills to complete so soon to be sold to finance a beach buggy I now have,
Its a bit rough but its all there including some rust. Should will make a nice resto project I think its a GP1 I would post pics but not sure how to yet

Cant wait to make a start so can anyone put me on to a good fabricator/welder in the south Cheshire Stoke area??

Need to sort out a bit of a hole the last owner made in the tunnel to access the hand brake I wonder if he was trying to make a glove box
