Hey, I'm James, from Oxford. I've always been into campers and I've been searching for one for ages. Luckily I managed to find one last week in London, a 1975 Sheldon Bay in yellow and white. It's a bit strange to drive but as expected, I've fallen in love with it! It's odd being overtaken by everyone on the motorways etc, but the smiles and the waves from people in other vans makes it worthwhile!
Is anyone else out there in Oxford?
Here are some pictures of my van. It needs a bit of a tidy up, paint etc, but the bodywork is fantastic!
Also, I meant to ask. The type of roof on my van, it says Sheldon on the back but I've never seen a bay with a roof like this before. Does anyone know what was originally up there? The previous owner put some wooden slats up there to make a makeshift bed. I was debating putting a hammock up there or something. Any ideas?
