Coolnew "kid" on the block

evening all
been a newbie for a whole week now and thought I should introduce myself
Name is Mark but my friends call me Bernie.
I am 47, married to Sue and have 7 kids between us and a few grand kids but I ain't gonna mention that.
Job is IT manager for a PR company so anyone with problems don't hesitate to get in touch.
I am putting together a Baja bug at the moment but it's going to be a buggy eventually, my bucket list before 50 jobby.
I have done a few cars in my day, mini in various guises, mini cooper, escort, V8 escort, rover 3.5, jag back axle, you know the score.
I have helped mates over the years with R6's side-car frames. V6 escorts etc
Loved cars for ages and I am so glad to be doing them again.
welded up the beetle floor completely with new pans and head
welded and modded up the old beetle body but ultimatly am going to get a beach buggy body on the chassis.
Have met a descent chappy called filthy phil, no, that's not right, philthy, that's better, who got me going with a descent set of seats and a buggy exhaust so am going to be fitting that soon
thanks for reading and hope to be meeting some of ya at the butty runs and others
cheers

Welcome to the wonderful world of VT

Just ignore some of the stupid ones as they havent a clue and think this forum is all about VW's

So what type of straight jacket do you favour as i prefer the leather strapped on over the extended ard ties

I used to be a heavy gambler. But now I just make mental bets. That's how I lost my mind.
