QuestionChassis dimensions.

In desperate need of some late Bug chassis measurements!
It's a 1970 beam and swing axle chassis that has been 'fully restored', but i'm absolutely convinced the new frame head has been welded in inthe wrong place!
So... can anyone either tell me of a website that has detailed specifications of the standard chassis, or can anyone pop out to their garage and take a few measurements off a chassis they have with the body off?
Hope someone out there can help.
Fingers crossed.

Re: Chassis dimensions.

1.8m from the centre of the rear chassis mount on the torsion tube to the centre of the outer most mount hole on the frame head, or thereabouts

Saturday is fine dude, the car isn't going anywhere yet anyway. If you could measure from body mount holes on top of framehead to front gear lever mounting hole, that should give me a rough idea of how far out i am.
Could do with some very accurate measurements from body mount holes above rear shocks to body mount holes on top of frame head for putting it back together as a stock size chassis instead of a LWB!?!

Many thanks.
Be cool.
