I'm not after doing one yet - ta anyway.

I was just wondering as I have a few T4's with head problems. people always say get it skimmed else it wont seal - even if its a thou out or something.

your idea of using the crush layers of a head gasket makes sense - but doesn't explain why it doesn't work if your head is slightly out ???

keep up the good work and keep posting pics - iits all very interesting

and I hope you get the planning dept sorted

cheers tricky ,but u only use head spacers to lower compression to run higher boost,,i know on some t4 the deisal and turbo desial are prown for head cranks near the valves and glow plug seats ,,as ive a 19td head ,and theres 2 types of injectors ,27mm and pencil ones with a 13mm clamp holding them..

there balanced lol ,never had one balance yet ,last ones i did were on my t5 bug ,ive tested them at 155mph ,and some harsh quart mile sprints ,everything spot u just mark a line accross the driveshaft ,cut ,chop,v them weld always near to a cv end to save it spining like a bannara ,and u wont have a problem,,,,mind i would like to know why one drive is solid steel and the other is tubular,,any ideas

I guess the tube one will be the cheap import . hope you filled it with oily sand so it doesn't rust from the inside
