wizard back from the dead

As some in the club know, i dug up a wizard bodyshell from a local garden a couple of weeks ago, it had no doors fitted, or wings/lights/glass/wiring so you kind of get the picture, a bare shell that had been out in the elements for several years and home to a tomcat for a couple so it really stunk.

I have been layed off work so i decided to have a go at putting it into one piece with the sole intention of getting the all important mot and selling it as a blank canvass for someone to drive as is with the rat look or do to their own taste, keeping it is not an option at the minute, here are a few pics of the work done so far, feel free to comment, good or bad, i don't mind, i realise these are marmite cars

got the doors on, they fit real well, glass is almost sorted and all seals fitted

fitted a reclaimed wiring harness as the old one had gone up in smoke, ignition switch also, so fitted one of those

wings now bolted in place, its a 71 but i have slopers so it gets what i've got

lights now fitted and working, massive thanks to stumpyvee dub for the expert help with the sparks, i know my limits

hood appears unused and is an excellent fit although it looks like a pram to me, back lights all fitted now, just have to replace the flywheel seal on a recon engine and get it fittted asap, will update the post as things progress, like i said its the mot i want so no fancy paint is in the offing here

Is it just me, or would that look really good in brown with the red wheels?

new engine bay seal fitted along with a flywheel seal and thrust bearing, then time to fit the engine, these wizards are a real tight fit, all wires connected and engine is cranking on the key, need to fit new fuel lines tomorrow and a filter and the car may drive for the first time in 17 years
