Yeah already had a good look and some advice from kg works, im going to fabricate the inners myself and just buy patten outer sections....and modify some beetle flooring!

Pat, I bought a brand new floorpan half when I did mine - much easier than modifying beetle stuff, and by the time you've cut the beetle one about you've lost all your heater channel reference points too.
Also, look into buying a cut-out section from another car instead of the repair panel method - again, much quicker and neater too. Think I paid £175 for basically the bottom 8" of one side of the car. I'll dig out some pics.

Just an up date....
Other than rolling in and out the garage a few times... not a lot has gone on, unfortunalty due to house move and life change etc..had no time!

However i have collated new sills, new doors and various other panels, also currently having the new heater chanels made by a fab shop i know at a fraction of the cost of originals but to the original spec and size metal hopefully galvanised aswell so will last!

The engine has been sorted and is now running just needing new exhaust, i do have new heads and p+b to fit if/when the engine does come out! and most of the interior is out ready for new panels & fabricating.
The only other thing is the wheels have gone as i pref the original look and have stock wheels and caps on now...

Updates will come shortly I hope as house is now finished!
