A pic a day for 2010

Had this project planned for a few months now and today being the first day of 2010, means it's the first day for this project!

Basically, I'm going to take and post up 1 picture a day.
There may be a few days gap when I'm away on holiday and can't upload pics, but I'll upload when I get back to my computer!
I'm going to also try and theme it by taking pictures of things which have played a part in my life, so that will mean a lot of cars, art, nature and music related things, all of which provide excellent photo opportunities anyway!

All I ask is that please could others not post up any other pictures on this thread ta!

nah! Too expensive and I weren't that good at it!!

good going if you did! I've got a feeling a few of these pics may end up been taken with a mobile phone!

no ... about half way I (and most of the group) decided not to put rubbish photo's up just for the sake of keeping one a day. It was kind of demoralizing to think of taking a photo just for the sake of it, when the day before you shot 5 or 6 excellent ones !
Mobile phone comes in handy .. and the best camera to have is the one you have with you at the time !

This year, the one a day group has changed to 7 a week, and everyone seems to think this is going to be a lot more fun to do . you can still take one a day, or if you go somewhere nice you can post 7 from that for the week

That does seem a whole lot easier and I've got a feeling by March, I will have taken that many pictures around my work place that I'm going to be struggling to find anything else to take! I do take my camera with me most places I go anyway, but it's keeping motivated to get it out and take a picture. I'm sure you must be like me where some days you just don't feel in the right frame of mind to go and and take a load of pictures and then there are other days when it pains you to take the camera away from your eye as you're just really 'in the zone' so to speak and end up with 20 or 30 really good shots!
