hi cool van i always wanted a twin slider, was looking for ages but didnt end up with one, then always wish i looked a bit harder when i see good ones like yours oh well.

just wondering you said you got some volvo seats for the cab?
which ones you got and how are you planning to fit them cheers tony.

Thanks, I wasn't intending to get a twin slider originally, but this was in good condition, and it has grown on me basically because they're a bit more unusual.

I got the seats from a Volvo V40 estate I found in the scrappers. They're leather and they're heated They sit a little bit high, but the driving position is comfortable enough. The original seat mountings have long ago been removed from the cab, so I've had to improvise with steel bars and the volvo seat mounts to secure them to the cab floor. The mounts are essentially just bolted straight through the floor!

Another little update, just in case someone's out there reading this:


Cooker's in and ready to go. Based on the Devon, I think, but without the bracket to swing out of the door.


And the wardrobe is in too. Just waiting on some of those fancy door catch handle things from JK.


Fold up tables are based on the Westfalia things.

Electrics next!
