241 XUS Resto

Here goes then! I'm past the point of no return!!!!

Started by removing bumpers as i want blade and not towel rail.

Removed Handles as i got some genuine NOS to go on

then removed interior carpets and seats

then found a bit of the dreaded R

Im getting the floorpans completely replaced, think i might get both heater channels done while im at it

removed running boards and front and back wings today, post some pics later.

cheers Matt, its a bit of a 20 meter car though. Looks good from 20 meters!!! Have a look at what i found today...

eek that rust is harsh init

i dred to no wot is lurkin round mine, never been restored or touched really.

my wheel well has a few little holes but i used sum "hammerite" (i think thats how its spelt). just to stop any further rust as i dont hav alot of dosh seen as im only at college

its gonna be a long one i think as i dont just want to throw money at it. i want to try and do most of the stuff myself. I'm gonna get someone (a pro) to do all the metal work, then I'll use the good weather in the summer to por 15 the pan and slowly build her back up from there.
